Ludlow Concert Band is a community wind band set up in a relaxed and friendly way to enable musicians both experienced and inexperienced to practice together and play music to the wider public at special events or fundraising.

Rehearsals
  take place at Rockspring Community Centre, Sandford Road, Ludlow, South Shropshire, on Thursdays 7.00pm - 8.30pm.  It is  open to all ages, players must be a least of a grade 2 standard.


It is free to participate as there are no subs for members, and costs are kept to a minimum.  Donations are welcome.  We have had a number of donations from organisations such as Ludlow Town Council, Ludlow Food Hall, Liberal Democrats and the Town Centre Residents Association.

Vistit the Gallery Page to look at us in action on our first concert out at St Johns, helping to raise over £1,000 for St Johns and St Giles Churches.  The Concert also featured Ludlow and also Craven Arms Male Voice Choir.





As well as regular rehearsals, workshops have also been arranged such as the
Beginners Clarinet Workshop, which has been kindly supported by the Ludlow Branch of The Royal British Legion. 



 Musicians are needed to fill the band, urgently wanted are clarinets, trombones as well as a drummer.

Ludlow Concert Band has stemmed from the Ludlow Town Band which folded 10 years ago.
